Went for lunch at @concu_hyd’s new Sainikpuri outlet today, along with @mangopenciler2.0 and @tiny.sharma10. All of us happened to be dressed in shades of red for the Christmasy vibes! It was a nice time spent and we enjoyed the food. Also, the staff were taking a group picture and I happened to be the one they asked to take it, and @mangopenciler2.0 managed to capture a Behind the Scenes picture! [#NOSPOILERS]Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)Directed by Jon WattsI watched “Spider-Man: No Way Home” twice in the last few days (first time on 16th and then on 18th), and it was awesome! I loved it, it was the best in @jnwtts’s trilogy, there were so many crowd pleasing moments, the acting, story, action, effects, all were great! For me, the level of excitement and entertainment that this movie gave was comparable to the very best of the MCU entries. I loved the way they humanised the characters and whatever references and callbacks they put in, didn’t seem forced. I don’t want to say more as it will be spoilery for those who haven’t watched the movie yet. Highly recommended, do watch it!I drew the Green Goblin mask that appears in this movie. The drawing was done with multi colour ballpoint pen on A5 Moleskine sketchbook. You can swipe to see a scanned version. I posted a Reel as well, and in this post are the non sped-up videos so that you can see my actual process of shading (would probably be boring for most). I have also put up something I had posted on Stories with respect to Spoilers, after seeing @mahartified’s Story on people posting Spoilers for this movie. Went to watch “Spider-Man: No Way Home” for the second time yesterday and enjoyed it again! I got all the important references and Easter Eggs during the first time watch, but picked up on a couple of smaller details this time. @californiaburrito_in has opened an outlet in Hyderabad Next Galleria Mall (movie was watched here this time), which has a nice ambience and food. Simultaneously drawing with two pencils, demystified! ️ and @quaintessential_’s “Squid Game” artwork • A few days back, I posted a Reel where I drew a meme, with two pencils. This was inspired by @eduwoes_’s videos where he makes three or more drawings simultaneously. I tried to break down the approach and attempt something similar myself. As far as I could figure out, it’s different parts of the images that are drawn (for example, one eye of first face is done, then one eye of second face, and so on) in sequence, but when the video is sped up, it appears that they’re being drawn simultaneously. It would be physically impossible to make different marks on the paper if the pencils are making contact at the same time.So here in this post, you can swipe to see the videos at slower speed, and you can make out how it works. Personally I felt it’s good to try just for the experience, but I wouldn’t normally use this approach as you don’t have as much control over your drawing, and the end result isn’t good However I hope the explanation was helpful. You could actually attempt it yourself, it’s doable!This is off topic but I also wanted to highlight @quaintessential_’s wonderful “Squid Game” artwork. Even while she was posting in progress pictures I really liked the artwork and wanted to have a print of it once it was completed. Gladly, she did make it available as an A4 size print, which I purchased and which is what you see in the picture.
