Watched "Bhediya" today, nice outing with @varunabhiram @tiny.sharma10 @mangopenciler2.0 @katarite_ @vamshibhasham. Corporate wants you to find the difference between the first two pictures. Tagging @couldbealbumcovers because I think those first two pictures could be album covers. Also, the three frames showing the theatre row are different pictures. BTS video by Dinesh (I found a power outlet against which to rest the phone, for the first two pictures). Yashoda (2022)Directed by Hari and HarishI have to credit @mangopenciler2.0 and @tiny.sharma10 for pushing me to watch this movie in the theatre! I saw it last week and enjoyed it a lot.Samantha stars as Yashoda, a young woman in need of money who agrees to become a surrogate mother. She is taken to a surrogacy facility but gradually realises that something sinister is lurking beneath the surface.I love these thrillers where the protagonist is trapped in a facility or guarded place and the cracks begin to show (Gore Verbinski's "A Cure for Wellness" was the most recent of its type that I saw), and so I had a great time with it. The movie kept throwing a lot of ideas our way in the first half and it was engaging always. After the interval mark, I felt it got a bit rushed and predictable, since if you've seen enough of this type of movie, you'll figure out where they are heading with it. But no matter, if you are on board and willing to suspend disbelief a bit, you will have a good time. Samantha carried the movie really well in the lead role, and the action scenes were good too, overall a very entertaining movie.I was actually thinking that the movie would have been even more interesting if they had pushed the horror, violence and twisted elements even more, but that would have made it a less commercial venture than the existing U/A form.I drew Samantha from the movie, the drawing was done with 0.5 mm 4B mechanical pencil on Brustro sketchbook. Visited e'woke Vegan Restaurant (@bwoke.ewoke) yesterday along with @tiny.sharma10 and @mangopenciler2.0. We had a nice time, the place was good and the food was really nice. There is also an attached store where I bought some vegan curd (peanut based) and vegan butter just to try, and also some @hello_tempayy cubes. The wall artwork where we took pictures is by @abused_ink_. The pictures of me were shot by @mangopenciler2.0 on his Pixel 6 Pro, the one with me emerging from the teacup was shot by @tiny.sharma10, everything else by me on Samsung Galaxy S22.
