[#NOSPOILERS]HIT: The Second Case (2022)Directed by Sailesh KolanuI watched both the "HIT" movies back to back last weekend and enjoyed them a lot! I had not seen "HIT: The First Case" when it was released a couple of years ago. The second movie was released in theatres last Friday and once I booked tickets for it (watched during @shyamla.e's visit to Hyderabad), I watched the first one on Prime (I've not watched the Hindi remake which is on Netflix).I liked the first movie a lot, it was always engaging and fast paced. The movie kept throwing a lot of information at the audience which kind of kept you alongside the protagonist in trying to solve the mystery, and it did a very good job of making the events seem convincing while still making it a commercial thriller. The same comments would apply for the sequel too! I see what the director is doing with the series, each movie is set in the same universe with overlapping characters but the lead in each movie would be different. We had Vishwak Sen as the protagonist Vikram Rudraraju in the first one set in Hyderabad, here it's Adivi Sesh as Krishna Dev (KD) in a story set in Vizag. In "The Second Case" KD and team are trying to track down a serial killer who has killed women and dismembered their bodies. The movie was efficient like the first, it wasted no time, the acting and filmmaking were nicely done. I really enjoyed it, looking forward to "The Third Case" now! This movie has an "A" rating so it allows for more violence and gore though I felt they used it in a limited but effective way.I spotted a shot of teeth in the end credits of the first film which didn't figure in that film's plot at all, it is a plot point here. Spotted the director in a couple of places as the owner of a bar.I drew Adivi Sesh as KD and his dog Max from the movie. The drawing was done with 0.5 mm 4B mechanical pencil on A6 Campap sketchbook. 30 minute commute in 18 seconds, from Parade Grounds Metro Station to Raidurg Metro Station. Used this audio from one of @masood_boomgaard's videos. It's good advice but something I rarely follow, because on the Metro I'm on my phone most of the time Note: In this Reel, I followed @nikk_slayer's advice of stabilizing the video in Google Photos. The hyperlapse as it was filmed was much more shaky. #karthikabhiram #Reels #bornoninstagram #hyperlapse #s22

𝓥𝓲𝓸𝓵𝓮𝓷𝓽 𝓝𝓲𝓰𝓱𝓽 • Went to watch this movie on Friday night, the timing worked out very well for gym at office, Metro trip from Raidurg to Uppal, walk to the Mall, meeting up with @mangopenciler2.0 there and then watching the movie. In the spirit of the best Christmas movies like "Die Hard" the movie had similar vibes, and I enjoyed the action and violence. Here are photos, and though it's not a trending audio I used "Ode to Joy" here, again a reference to "Die Hard". Also, there's a character called Thorp in the movie, I think that's a reference to Roderick Thorp, the author of the book that "Die Hard" is based on. #karthikabhiram #Reels #bornoninstagram #boi #boireeltime

Since this thing is trending I figured out how to make this effect of getting multiple copies of oneself in video. This is done with @vnvideoeditor app. I figured out how to do the effect but couldn't think of what to do with it, and like a meta thing I made that itself the concept of the Reel #karthikabhiram #boigrowaudio #boireeltime #bornoninstagram #trendingreels #trendingaudio #trending

I'm seeing a lot of people post their Spotify Wrapped list of music — and I couldn't join in since I don't use Spotify (maybe I should start), and also my music listening habits are atypical. I don't use a single app for music, probably most of the time I'll listen to tracks on YouTube only. Also, I don't use earphones, and don't prefer to have music playing all the time. In gym I use @youtubemusic and play songs on phone itself at low volume. And I listen to a lot of movie soundtrack scores, rather than popular songs. When I realised that YouTube Music has this Recap feature, I thought I'll post it. So here you go, this is not representative of everything I've listened to probably but a good idea of my interest — thanks to Lokesh Kanagaraj's movies, especially "Vikram", I've listened to Anirudh Ravichander's kickass tracks often, and the Ravi Basrur one is because of the "KGF" movies this year.#karthikabhiram #Reels #trending #spotifywrapped #youtube #youtubemusic

The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special (2022)Directed by James GunnAfter "Werewolf by Night" which was also really well made, we now have another Marvel Studios Special Presentation in the form of a GotG Christmas Special from James Gunn. It runs just around 45 minutes but actually felt much shorter than that (almost like a short film) to me. The plot involves Mantis and Drax deciding to get a gift for Peter Quill so as to make it a great Christmas for him. It was a sweet little episode, very entertaining and though it's a simple story, there is some world building at play here which will pay off in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3". This is rounding off the Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase 4 ("Wakanda Forever" being the last movie, this one being the last TV show). Main titles are done by @sarofsky_design like some other James Gunn productions, and with its Christmas theme, the end credits are in the usual Din font but instead of white, they appear in red and green.I drew the older version of Groot from this special, the drawing is done with 0.5 mm 4B mechanical pencil on A6 Campap sketchbook.
