[700TH #DAILYMOVIESKETCH DRAWING β’ #scifinktober22 by @alberto_sting Day 15]RoboCop (1987)Directed by Paul VerhoevenThis is the 700th sketch I've done for my "Daily Movie Sketch" project. For those who don't know about it, in 2016 I started an art account to post movie related sketches, for around 3 months I posted daily. Later on I still continued posting regularly, though not daily. From 2020 though, I'm only active on this @karthikabhiram account, but I've continued the numbering of sketches from the time I started, and this is number 700.It's an entry for Alberto Russo's take on Inktober, based on classic sci fi movies, and as I love this movie, it worked out well for this milestone."RoboCop" is an excellent dystopian sci fi action movie set in the near future, with the megacorporation OCP running the police department. Cop Alex Murphy is killed in the line of duty and resurrected as a cyborg cop, a project of OCP to control crime. The smart script has a lot of humour and I love the stylised choices they made. The graphic violence and bloodshed is much appreciated, it has a superb score by Basil Poledouris, amazing makeup and special effects, and stop motion animation by Phil Tippett.Since Alberto's sketches have multiple characters from the movies, I did something similar. You have RoboCop with and without the helmet, a bit where OCP employee Kinney gets riddled with bullets by the droid ED-209 (a scene which had to be trimmed to avoid an X rating, the Director's cut reinstates these few seconds of footage). People have referenced the show "South Park" where Kenny is killed in hilariously gruesome ways in multiple episodes. Also, a small sketch of a collectible action figure. This is drawn with ballpoint pen on A5 sketchbook, you can swipe to see a scan.#700 / 16-Oct-22@inktober #inktober #inktober2022#karthikabhiram #dailymoviesketch#ballpointpen #ballpointpendrawing #ballpointpensketch#robocop

ππππππ πππππππ πππππ ππ πππππππππ β’ For a long time I have used VSCO and Snapseed to edit pictures on phone, of late I've added Lightroom also as one of the tools I'm using.Since my older phones were not good with video, it's only in the past year or so that I've posted more of video and Reels content, and since the video footage has been really good from iPhone 12 Mini and my current Samsung Galaxy S22, I have generally not edited the videos at all.You can edit videos with VSCO and apply the same Presets available for pictures, and you can do a similar thing with Lightroom too. Once you have applied certain edits to photos, you can click on Presets, and the three dots at the top of the page and click "Create Preset" to save those. Then, when you open a video clip in Lightroom, you can apply the same onto video footage too. It's an easy way to get your video clips looking the same as your pictures. Even if you're not using a preset, the "Light" and "Colour" tabs will be available in Lightroom for you to make adjustments. This is not something I've used till now but I think I will experiment more with it going forward.#karthikabhiram #reels @adobe @lightroom #lightroom #tutorial #colourgrading #Hyderabad

When you play Rock Paper Scissors in front of the mirror at midnight… and suddenly you win β’ @aarteaist had posted this meme on his Story which I found very funny. He and I created photo versions of the same meme. This is two images overlaid on top of each other and a portion erased. Done with the Double Exposure tool in Snapseed. @samsungwithgalaxy #withgalaxy #S22 #multiplicity #snapseed #karthikabhiram

[#scifinktober22 by @alberto_sting Day 3 and Day 5]I'd been busy with work past couple of weeks hence the reduced time to spend on sketches. Here are my entries for Alberto Russo's sci-fi themed Inktober Day 3 and 5, with the chestburster from "Alien" and the bug alien wearing a decaying human skin from "Men in Black".Also, I recently posted a Collab with @satyavarshi with a drawing on the movie "777 Charlie", I never actually posted a picture of that, so it's here. All these drawings were done with ballpoint pens on A5 sketchbook. ππππππ πππππππ ππ πππππππππ ππ ππππππππππ πππππ β’ Those who know me well, know that I am particular about symmetry and having lines be straight in photos.Usually I edit pictures in VSCO or Snapseed and use Rotation and Perspective Correction to adjust lines. In certain situations this Guided Upright tool in Lightroom can be much more efficient and can give you quicker results. Click on Geometry, go to Guided Upright, click on the icon that looks like intersecting lines. Then you can draw up to 4 guide lines on the image (2 horizontal and 2 vertical) which Lightroom will use to straighten the picture. I like to draw them along lines that are supposed to be straight, you can move them around to get them aligned well. The tool works the same way in Lightroom on computer as well.Hope this was helpful, do try it out!Tagging @nikk_slayer and @vamshibhasham as this Reel was inspired by discussion with you guys.#karthikabhiram #reels @adobe @lightroom #lightroom #tutorial #guidedupright #Hyderabad

I was seeing a bunch of Reels using this audio and found it very funny, so I saved it with the intention of using it myself. I had shared a very sweet Reel by @audiphotography using this audio, and on his and few others suggestion, here is my take on this, showing larger and miniature artworks of mine. #karthikabhiram #Reels

Photos with lines, edited in Lightroom. You can actually see me in the reflection, in the first image, there are a couple of zoomed in slides showing that. I usually edit photos in VSCO or Snapseed, thought to try Lightroom. One tool which it has is Guided Upright which is very useful to get straight lines perfectly straight. @samsungwithgalaxy #withgalaxy #S22 #karthikabhiram #Hyderabad
