This is a macro shot of brown bread with Maggi Hot & Sweet Tomato Chilli Sauce (it's different — 80s kids will remember this line). This was shot with my Canon 200D, with the 18-55mm lens reversed. I saw a set of amazing macro photos shot this way, by @navaneeth_unnikrishnan and I thought I would try it too. Avengers: Infinity War (2018)Directed by Anthony and Joe RussoSaddened to hear of the demise of actor Chadwick Boseman today. I won't claim to know that much about him, as I've only seen his work in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies — starting with "Captain America: Civil War" in 2016, then "Black Panther" and "Avengers: Infinity War" in 2018 and "Avengers: Endgame" in 2019. He certainly had a screen presence as T'Challa, the King of Wakanda. He was battling cancer, and filmed multiple movies over the last 4 years in between surgeries. That must have been extraordinarily demanding. As someone who has more than a passing interest in exercise, I can't even imagine how difficult it must have been for him to get into the shape that he did, for those movies and do all the physically demanding things. Seeing some videos about him, and hearing what his costars have to say about him, it seems like he was a genuinely good person and influenced others positively.I drew him as T'Challa from "Infinity War", during the scene when Thanos's army invades Wakanda, and where he and the Wakandan army chant 'Yibambe' (hold strong). We saw this bit in the trailer, and I won't deny, when this scene came on, I was chanting too.The drawing was done with Bic ballpoint pen and Gelly Roll pen on A5 sketchbook in one square inch size, for @aninchaugust #aninchaugust #aninchaugust2020 as well. Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021)Directed by Zack SnyderRecently, at the virtual fan event DC FanDome that happened on 22-Aug-20, there were quite a few reveals. A new trailer for "Wonder Woman 1984" was released, as was a teaser and information about @jamesgunn's "The Suicide Squad", and a trailer for @mattreevesla's "The Batman".The most anticipated reveal of all, was some information and a teaser for the "Snyder Cut" of "Justice League", or "Zack Snyder's Justice League". The version released in theatres in 2017, now referred to by some as "Josstice League", after Joss Whedon who oversaw reshoots to the film, was a compromised version, cut short to the studio mandated two hours.While I actually liked the release version, several fans all around the world were eager to see Snyder's original vision, and we're getting that now. "Zack Snyder's Justice League" will be released on @hbomax in 2021, it will be four parts running one hour each, and will not have any of the footage that Whedon shot.The teaser trailer was epic and had me applauding at the end. It is set to "Hallelujah" by Leonard Cohen (which Snyder used in "Watchmen"), it feels like a different movie, has many new shots that weren't in the release version, and has a 4:3 aspect ratio. In fact this has a separate entry on @imdb as well. I am looking forward to it. They mentioned they will work out a distribution plan for those countries where HBO Max isn't available.I drew Darkseid from the trailer. 𝙃𝘼𝙋𝙋𝙔 𝙒𝙊𝙍𝙇𝘿 𝙋𝙃𝙊𝙏𝙊𝙂𝙍𝘼𝙋𝙃𝙔 𝘿𝘼𝙔 to all who are reading this! Sharing a photo of a camera and lens — swipe back and forth to change the focus between the two! Maybe the sight of no caps on the lens or the camera may disturb some of you, as will the fact that it's a full frame camera but the lens is an EF-S one, but I was actually trying some settings between the two cameras and lenses, so I think it's appropriate to post for the occasion. I have been using my 5D a little more these days. While I miss the Dual Pixel Autofocus which is available on 200D, the low light performance of the 5D is in a different league entirely. So I guess I'm glad I have access to both, and of course the phone is always there.
