Home Alone (1990)Directed by Chris ColumbusLast year for Christmas, I did a sketch based on "Die Hard", one of my favourite movies set during Christmas. Today, I was thinking on what to draw, and then I watched a Breakdown / Easter Eggs video of "Home Alone" by @eavoss for @newrockstars. So I decided to do a drawing based on this movie. It's been many years since I watched it, I think the last time would have been still in the VHS era! Should watch it again now and see how it holds up. But I'm sure many of us would have watched this movie many many times as kids and enjoyed it. The music score by John Williams is very memorable and so is the entire Christmas feel of this comedy.I drew Joe Pesci as Harry, the smarter half of the Wet Bandits, from the movie. This is from the third act of the movie where Kevin McCallister (Macaulay Culkin) defends himself from the burglars, dishing out quite a lot of damage (these Rube Goldberg-ish traps lead people to theorise that Kevin grows up to become the Jigsaw Killer from @creepypuppet's "Saw" movies). The drawing was done with ballpoint pen and @prismacolor pencil on A6 Brustro sketchbook and scanned.Merry Christmas everyone!#DailyMovieSketch #christmas #homealone #wetbandits #harry #404 / 25-Dec-18
