That word made me think of the Sea of Tranquility, which is on the Moon, and though that doesn't figure in the film at all, it reminded me of this 2009 science fiction movie. Sam Rockwell plays astronaut Sam Bell, who is stationed on the Sarang moon base, the only crew member of a mining operation. He is nearing the end of his three year contract, and it’s just two weeks before he has to go home. When an accident happens he finds himself questioning his sanity and realises things may not be what they seem to be. “Moon” is a brilliantly made and superbly acted movie, with Kevin Spacey providing the voice for the robot GERTY. I loved the production design, the cinematography, effects (all done on a very low budget) and the superb music score by Clint Mansell.
