Thank you @kudihighonlife for suggesting that I make a Reel with the process of editing a photo. So, here it is!It isn't anything very complicated, as I usually only do subtle and global edits to most pictures. I try to get the framing correct and lines as straight as possible while taking the picture itself, so that I don't have to do much of editing at all. These days I mostly use only one app and that is @vsco, and most of the recent photos that you've seen on my feed go through pretty much the same process.Steps here: – In VSCO, first I applied one of my favourite presets (K3) which I have been using for years as I like its look.- Adjust Perspective (here the option is under Skew)- Rotate (it's under Crop and Straighten)- Then Crop to 4:5- I added a bit of Sharpening and Clarity- Increased Saturation a little bit- Decreased Highlights a little bitand that's it. The exact steps and the app I used actually aren't that important (as there are many ways to achieve a similar result). The thought process though, is to get an interesting and symmetrical frame where all the lines are straight, avoiding unnecessary distractions and ensuring that detail is not lost in highlights and shadows. To be honest much of this is also taken care of by the AI in the phone itself. I always shoot on AUTO mode on phone, and in JPEG.For making the B&W version I simply opened the photo in Snapseed, went to the B&W option, selected Neutral, and added a bit of Contrast.#karthikabhiram #tutorial @samsungwithgalaxy #withgalaxy #s22 @amb_cinemas #hellohyderabad
