Obi-Wan Kenobi (2022)Directed by Deborah ChowThis "Star Wars" project was apparently to be a movie, sitting alongside the other "A Star Wars Story" movies like "Rogue One" and "Solo", however after the latter movie underperforming, and after the subsequent good reception of the Disney Plus shows, this became a limited series. It's a short one, with only six episodes out of which five are released, the last one will turn up the copming Wednesday.It's a well made show, with good visuals and it's great to see Ewan McGregor in the title role and I've liked the five episodes so far. However, unless they show us something extraordinary in the last episode, I'm of the opinion that this show gave us some cool things that we wanted to see, but in the long run didn't add much to the overall lore, at least for me (I haven't watched the numerous animated series so maybe I'm not as invested).It does have a 10 year old Princess Leia played by actress Vivien Lyra Blair though, which is a highlight. The young actress does do well and they have introduced shades of Leia's adult personality here. I drew her, the drawing was done with 0.5 mm 4B pencil on A5 notebook.
