Kaithi (2019) × Vikram (2022)Directed by Lokesh KanagarajI already did a drawing based on "Vikram" and wrote about it as well. Since the movies "Kaithi" and this are interrelated, I had an idea to make a crossover drawing, this is one, which we may very well get to see in the sequels to either movie – the character Dilli from "Kaithi" facing off against the big bad revealed in "Vikram", Rolex. The actors being real life brothers would further make this a very interesting dynamic.Swipe to see a scan and also a "What If…" style poster I made. Though Lokesh has actually quoted "Die Hard" as an inspiration for "Kaithi" the setting of a police station did remind one of John Carpenter's "Assault on Precinct 13" (the movies are very different and not related though).The drawing was done with 0.5 mm 4B pencil on A5 notebook.
