Microwave Popcorn × AI • I have been playing around with AI image generation using the Playground AI site of late. Sometimes it can take multiple (hundreds?) of iterations and variations in prompts to get an image close to what you want. It's often not as simple as typing in a few words and magically getting a finished image, when looking at AI artworks we often are only seeing the best of what was generated and not all the failed attempts. I thought this concept went well with this trend of using this "Microwave Popcorn" song so here's my entry. Also: one fact I learned recently — these text to image tools weren't intended to create art, that's a side effect — they were created as part of ongoing research to build AGI (Artifical General Intelligence), where recognition of real world objects is one of the requirements.
