[@inktober #inktober #inktober2020 Prompt Word "Shoes" #inktober2020shoes]Back to the Future Part II (1989)Directed by Robert ZemeckisFor the Inktober prompt word "Shoes", I thought of the self-lacing Nike shoes from the section in "Back to the Future Part II" where the main characters go to the future of 2015.As a kid, I had the videotape of the movie and watched it many many times! Among the movies in the trilogy, this is the one I've seen most often. It has a pretty darker tone than the other two movies. The "Back to the Future" movies are classics for many reasons, and they are simply brilliant. I drew the shoes with Schneider ballpoint pen and a bit of Bic colour ballpoint pen on A7 size @menorah.in sketchbook. You can swipe to see a scanned version of the drawing.Well Inktober is over now, and this year I have only done 8 sketches, since I was busy with work almost throughout the months of September and October (hence I wasn't as active as usual on Instagram itself). November is also going to be a busy month.
