They Live (1988)Directed by John CarpenterBeen busy with work past few weeks and hence not posting as often. This is a sketch for the @inktober #inktober #inktober2020 prompt word "Radio". The storyline of "They Live" involves aliens posing as the upper class, keeping humans under control by broadcasting a signal that lulls them into obedience, with subliminal messaging all around. It's an interesting concept fashioned into an entertaining action-science fiction movie. The aliens are portrayed as ghoulish skeleton like humanoids. Apparently it was stunt coordinator Jeff Imada that played most of the aliens when they appear on screen.A small ballpoint pen drawing, made with Bic multi colour pen. I actually started the drawing for the prompt "Wisp" before this, but since that is taking time to complete, drew this on the same page.
