Watched “The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent” (@nickcagemovie) yesterday! This is a movie featuring Nicolas Cage playing a fictional version of himself and Pedro Pascal is also in it. I didn’t think that this movie would be released theatrically in India but @kashyapchandra spotted it playing, and we watched it. I enjoyed the movie, and reminded me of a late 1990s or early 2000s small or mid budgeted action comedy (they don’t make these anymore, do they?). I liked the relationship they built with the characters played by Cage and Pascal, and I found the movie was relatively grounded (in fact I felt it would have worked even without the ‘meta’ aspect of the story). Glad to have watched it. Now, someone should be on the job of getting “The Northman” released here! #shotoniphone #hellohyderabad #karthikabhiram
