𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐌𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜 — Entry for @mangopenciler2.0’s #drawwithmango challenge with the theme “where I’m from”. When I thought of childhood memories, there are those associated with a place but I also thought of time or the generation we’re from. So I thought to draw something not related to a place, rather to a time, specifically the 1990s decade. I think we would have got a VCR at home when the 1990s started, and VHS tapes were our exposure to movies. Audio cassettes were the source of music for a long time and I think the last tapes I would have bought would have been towards the end of the 1990s or early 2000s. After that everything went digital. These are two small drawings done with 0.5 mm 4B pencil on A5 notebook.
