𝐁𝐀𝐓𝐌𝐀𝐍 𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐤 — I was discussing with @whojay_ recently on some nostalgic movie related stuff and the topic of audio cassettes came up.In the early 1990s as a kid (must be 1990 or 1991), I had this soundtrack cassette of the 1989 "Batman" movie, and used to listen to these songs a lot. Later, I got the videotape of the movie too. Back then, when comic book movies were rare, seeing a big screen adaptation was something special.Tim Burton's "Batman" movie was a huge box office hit, it was a dark and brooding take on the character, while still being very entertaining! The theme music by Danny Elfman was unforgettable and the visuals were terrific, and Jack Nicholson as the Joker actually overshadowed Michael Keaton as Bruce / Batman.Looking forward to Keaton reprising this role in the upcoming "Flash" movie (it's delayed to 2023 I guess), and since Matt Reeves's movie is in recent memory, it seemed apt to post this now. I took out the cassette and shot some photos. For the longest time (I suppose, from 1991 till the mid 1990s), I remember the price of these tapes being Rs 45. Magnasound was one of the popular companies that used to release music in India. The first shot is with camera and 85mm lens, others are with iPhone and the last set of pictures are from July 2010 which I'd posted on Facebook. These were taken with a laptop webcam and edited in Picasa (remember that?)!#canon #5dmarkiii #85mm #iphone12mini #shotoniphone#karthikabhiram #flatlay #nostalgia#batman #thebatman #soundtrack #audiocassette #90snostalgia
