Ebola Syndrome (1996)Directed by Herman YauIf you are in the mood for watching an exploitation film, you could check out this 1996 Hong Kong movie. It stars Anthony Wong as Kai a perverted chef, who contracts the Ebola virus after molesting a tribal woman with the disease. He is immune to the effects though and ends up spreading it all over South Africa and later Hong Kong. While I wouldn't say this is a very good movie (there are viral outbreak movies that have been done much better, but that's not really the point of this movie), it's certainly entertaining and well worth your time, for this sort of material. It has enough of violence, blood, gore and offensive content to justify its Cat III tag (the Hong Kong equivalent of an adults only film or an NC-17 US rating). Anthony Wong is excellent as the disgusting and perverted lead character. The movie is on YouTube, which is where I saw it, I had posted a Story on my @karthikabhiram account with the link (it's in Highlights). I drew Kai from the movie, the drawing was done with @staedtlermars ballpoint pens on A6 sketchbook and scanned. Also tagging this as #uncensored, an entry for my series of sketches celebrating movies that have adult content. #dailymoviesketch #karthikabhiram#uncensored #ebola #ebolasyndrome#catiii #videonasty#ballpointpen#512 / 30-Jan-20
