Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of one Harley Quinn) (2020)Directed by Cathy YanSome days ago, a teaser for this movie was shown in theatres along with “It Chapter Two”. The teaser opens with red balloons floating upwards with music that makes it seem like a trailer for that film itself. But then Harley Quinn emerges from the shadows with a mallet and bursts the balloons saying, “I’m so fucking over clowns”. This movie with a very long title is an upcoming entry in the now kind of fractured DCEU, and is apparently the first R-Rated film in that series. I am keeping my expectations in check but anyway looking forward to it, especially for Margot Robbie, who was fantastic in “Suicide Squad”. I drew Harley from the teaser, this was drawn with 0.5mm 2B mechanical pencil and a Prismacolor red pencil on A6 Brustro sketchbook and scanned.
