Bird Box (2018)Directed by Susanne BierA Netflix original film, this one is a post apocalyptic horror / thriller set in a time where much of humanity has been wiped out by creatures that cause people to kill themselves if they look at them. It's five years after the incident happened, and Malorie (SandraBullock) must get to a promised safe haven along with two children. Much of the film though is composed of flashbacks showing how this apocalypse happened. It's an interesting film but one definitely has a strong sense of deja vu through the whole thing. It reminded me of films like Zack Snyder's version of "Dawn of the Dead", "A Quiet Place", "The Walking Dead", and "28 Days Later". The film is definitely effective, the performances are good and the suspense and tension is quite nicely done. The music score is by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, and it's good as well.Overall it's worth watching but I don't think it's an extraordinary movie.I drew Sandra Bullock as Mallorie, with her blindfold. It was drawn with Bic ballpoint pen and blue colour pencil and scanned.#DailyMovieSketch #birdbox#408 / 30-Dec-18
