We got a remake directed by Fede Alvarez in 2013, and a follow up to the original series not in the form of a movie, but a TV show. "Ash vs Evil Dead" told the story of Ash 30 years after he fought evil in the original movies, with evil rising again. The show ran for 3 seasons (each comprising 10 half hour episodes), and had great production value – with stellar effects for the deadites and lots of creative blood, gore and splatter. Never mind that the story was rather convoluted, with the show changing showrunners during its run.This is a drawing of the Ashy Slashy puppet that makes its appearance in Season 2.
