[#DAILYMOVIESKETCH COMPLETES 2 YEARS!] I started @dailymoviesketch for my movie related artwork two years ago, on 4-Apr-16 (the pattern 4 4 16). Today I'm very happy that this account has completed 2 years! It has been an outlet for me to share my artwork and also write about movies. I have improved my skill – still a lot of scope for improvement, I hope to do better in the future! Sincere thanks to everyone who has supported my work! When I started, I did a sketch a day for ~120 days. Now, I post every 2-3 days, as work schedule permits. I also spend more time on them, and post scanned images, not photos. The write ups are also longer. There are now 332 sketches on this page. Here are some of my "Greatest Hits" – scroll back to see the original posts for the respective write ups. – Marla Singer/Fight Club, Walter White/Breaking Bad- Natalie Portman/V for Vendetta, a sketch I got autographed by David Lloyd, artist of the graphic novel – Firebase, sketch which the director @neillblomkamp liked – Collab with @sripriyatham and the last sketch of @Inktober 2016, a challenge I completed (31 sketches) – Deadpool/Bob Ross, shared on Instagram by Deadpool creator @robliefeld – "Breathe" drawing, featured by @breatheamazon and retweeted by @actormaddy – Kattappa drawing, featured on @baahubalimovie – Anushka/Baahubali 2, one of the most liked posts- Arjun Reddy, the most liked post here, and featured by @chaibisket – @reginaacassandraa/Awe!, she shared an in-progress drawing on her Instagram story – Uma Thurman/Pulp Fiction, the drawing I posted on completing one year- Dark, Pickle Rick, Murphy/Interstellar- PPAP Ryuk/Death Note, one of the few #Inktober2017 sketchesI'm also sharing some images of interesting things I got to do the last two years. One of the best experiences I've had was the opportunity to exhibit my artworks at @collabhouse along with @pparulverma, which got a couple of newspaper features too. For New Years, I have done artworks with multiple faces, available as t-shirts from @paintcollar. Finally, a fake movie poster, a flatlay at @sbowindia.Thanks once again, it's been awesome, I hope to do more interesting stuff in the future!
