Watched @jordanpeele's "Nope" yesterday at @amb_cinemas (Screen 4) and enjoyed it! It's not a movie where one would immediately have a clear "loved it" or "hated it" response, which is I think a common reaction for me, with all of Peele's movies. I would say that "Get Out" is still his most accessible and mainstream film, and in terms of the suspension of disbelief required to enjoy, "Nope" was easier to appreciate for me, than "Us". You already can tell from the trailers that this movie involves a UFO, and what they have done with the concept is a unique blend of genres and very different from what one wold be expecting. The craft is amazing — the visuals (cinematography by Hoyte van Hoytema in 65mm and IMAX), sound and music design are spectacular (which I later read was one of the themes of the movie). The nods to movies and filmmaking were also appreciated. I'm watching the movie again today. Here are some photos from AMB yesterday mostly involving reflections. If you saw someone kneeling down keeping the phone to the ground yesterday, that was me. @kashyapchandra also was at the same show.#karthikabhiram @samsungwithgalaxy #withgalaxy #S22 #makenightsepic #nightography #teamgalaxy #shotonphone #Nope @instagram #hellofrom Hyderabad India #hellohyderabad
